long long time!
It's been so long since i even visited the blog, fearing i will have nothing exciting to say or maybe i'll have too much to say. With no more excuses left here i am back again. (not that i have many posts to say so)
Married!
All that talk about how complicated, how tough it is to adjust... ya ya, went trough all of that.. For me it's been lazy one year. Shopped, cooked and watched a lot of tv to cope up with the change. It's an old story already...thankfully a good one, the only way i would have wanted it.
Travel
Progresso, Cozumel, yucatan(mexico), Vegas, Grand canyon(south rim), San antonio, Whichita Falls and streets of Dallas!
Been sick most of the time but still managed travel to a few places. I would have hated myself if i didn't! Got tons of photos from everywhere but lazy to process.
Music
This country (or maybe my husband) is always listening to billboard. That should say it all. I miss all the new music i stumbled up on and listen to. I dunno what happened to that side of me. Maybe i have no one really to share the music i like. What the hell!! i am going to listen to more of it now and write about it.
Food
This maybe the best part of married life. Food!! u can cook all you want, experiment and u'll always have someone to comment and more importantly eat it. I have spent more time cooking than anything else. Managed to learn a lot!! most importantly how to gain those extra pounds of fat!! Will have so many things to share and that only means more food photographs!
Reading
Few pages (maybe 50) of Fountain Head!
This entry will remind me now of all this things i need to do and all the nothings i got to do.

December Nights!
Each Coming Night...
Will you say when I'm gone away
"My lover came to me and we'd lay
In rooms unfamiliar but until now"
Will you say to them when I'm gone
"I loved your son for his sturdy arms
We both learned to cradle then live without"
Will you say when I'm gone away
'Your father's body was judgement day
We both dove and rose to the riverside"
Will you say to me when I'm gone
"Your face has faded but lingers on
Because light strikes a deal with each coming night"

Powder Blue!
It's December and my city, Bangalore is at it's best! It's perfect to stay in bed with a hot cup of tea and stare at the sky through the yellow tinted glass listening to Jack Johnson. I've finished all the post production for the assignments I did recently, done with the submission too and now I can blog!
A canopy of tall silver oaks sheltered the coffee.
Oh! how I wish I could share some pics of the landscape around this place..The client is going to use them so I will have to wait before I share 'em.
The house!

Living!

Something blue, something Persian! I am going to look for a similar one! I think it's a must have!

We then stopped for lunch at the famous, much talked about golf course.
Our next stop was at Sakleshpur. It took us about 4hrs to reach the estate in Sakleshpur where I shot for about 30 mins before we headed to another old British club for dinner. Food was alright. There was a white cat which kinda freaked me out! Apart from that it was good.
My last assignment was to shoot a coffee estate in Chickmangalur. This was my second assignment in Chickmangalur and the place was beyond belief! It was cold, foggy and the sky, powder blue. The night sky was nothing like the one in the city. It was clear and star studded with the Venus so bright, reminding me of those days in college where I sat with friends by the fire and gazed at the stars for hours.
The client got us to stay at this real old British Club there. I loved the bar. It looks better than what you see here.
After counting a few hundred stars, we slept for 4 hours and rushed out early, as early as 4:30am. The estate was close to Kemmangundi. It was spread across 200 acres. Unfortunately I can't share the pictures here 'coz they aren't published yet. Will update when I can. Till then here is a glimpse of the place.

We also got a chance to visit a 100 year old House surrounded by X acres of Coffee estate. This place has now been converted into a home stay.

trippy
Bangalore-Delhi-Ajmer-Pushkar-Jodhpur-Delhi-Bangalore
Traveling is like rolling in a bed of blue cotton candy. Ya! I am sure if I had a bed of cotton candy i'd enjoy it as much as I enjoy traveling.
India is one place that could take a lifetime to see. In spite of living here for ever, I haven't seen enough of it. A few weeks ago I did this trip with a few friends and decided to document the interesting parts of the trip..umm actually I wanted to video blog the whole trip but I couldn't. However, I managed a good number of videos for those who would like to see more than photos.
Before you view these videos I must warn you that these can be a little too random. So don't think too much if you don't understand.
Me and sup(supriya, aka chintu) left Bangalore on 31st October. Met Anusha and Anjali.
* trying to figure how to embed a video here! will update this asap!
